WordPress Tutoring

For Beginners to Intermediates

Learn to how to create a site or get help with a one you’re already working on.

Having built many WordPress sites I know it can be difficult to get started and there are times you need help solving problems. I’m pretty good at WordPress and would be happy to help you.

What about the other platforms and software?

From my experience, WordPress leads the pack over Squarespace, Wix, Weebly, and other quick-start website platforms. Depending on your needs those platforms might work well but bigger businesses are more likely to be using WordPress so it’s good to know it.

About Me

I work from home in Montclair, NJ.  I’m very chill yet professional and have other work projects going on all the time. I’m doing this on the side to grow my skills in WordPress consulting/teaching.  Years ago when I lived in Boston, I was hired to go into companies and teach teams how to build HTML website. Since then I have worked on over a hundred of multimedia projects through my company Bluemarker LLC.  In last five years, WordPress has become one of my goto tools for work.

$50 an hour seems reasonable but I’m flexible depending on your needs. Side note, my neighbor tutors high school kids in math and charges $150 an hour.

Extra costs

For your WordPress site you will need a purchase a domain name, hosting plan, and a specific premium theme. I can walk you through this if wanted.

  • For Hosting the basic plan is fine. I use VerveHosting.com and I hear good things about Bluehost.com and it can be as low as $2.95 monthly but be aware they have a lot of add-ons that push the price up.
  • Domains can be purchased from the hosting company you select.
  • I will be using a premium WordPress theme called Salient. I should be able to share a version for class purposes but if plan to use it you will need to purchase it for updates.
